Chalet Lucaval (sleeps 12)

£975 per person – rooms 6 and 7 (singles)

This is a beautiful new seven-bedroom chalet in a perfect position, just seconds from the pistes. Rooms 6 & 7 are two single rooms (that share a shower and wc) in an attached annexe at the back of the main building, just a minute’s walk from the front door. No supplement for these single rooms. 

Chalet Lucaval is situated just above Club Med, a few metres from the edge of the M piste from where you can glide across to the Solaise or Olympique bubbles. At the end of the day, the Rogoney enables you to return to the same place you started, a few seconds walk to the chalet. The free Train Bleu bus (which comes up from Rond Point) stops just by the chalet.

Chalet Ptarmigan (sleeps 7)

£1050 per person

Chalet Ptarmigan is a wonderful apartment right in the centre of Val d’Isère but very quiet. All the bedrooms face away from the road. Lovely views up the the Manchet valley from the sitting room.

There are four bedrooms, all en-suite, 3 rooms that can be twins or doubles and 1 single which doesn’t have a window. There is no supplement for this room but there is a sole occupancy charge of £450 for the other three rooms.

The slopes are just a few minutes’ walk away and there are shops, bars and restaurants within metres of the front door of the building. Bus stops in both directions are also very close.
