Val d’Isère and Tignes Ski Pass and Discounts

Prices mentioned below are for Winter 2024-25. They are for the full Val d’Isère and Tignes ski area, a vast domain of ski slopes to explore.

The public rate for a 6-day ski pass is 426€ for adults, 354€ for juniors and seniors. However, YSE are able to offer ski passes at lower than the prices offered to the public, for every week of the season. We can also offer passes for various durations (2-15 days) starting on whichever day of the week you wish.

Children aged 7 years or younger receive a completely free ski pass but will require a recent photograph. It makes sense to pre-order it (as the actual pass is required), particularly if you are already buying ski passes for other members of your party.

The reduced-price ski pass for children is for 8 to 18-year olds inclusively.

As ever, 65 to 74-year olds have the same reduction as children, and 75-year olds ski free but still need an actual pass so please order one.

The 6-day ski pass now automatically includes a 7th day. This is of no advantage to people coming by air, who will arrive too late and leave too early to ski, but may interest anyone driving to Val d’Isère, who can choose to start this 7-day ski pass on the day you arrive or use it on the day you leave. If you intend to benefit from this, we will need to know on which day your ski pass will start. (Needless to say, if you do choose to ski on 7 days, your chalet will not be ready before 4pm on the day you arrive, and we have to ask you to vacate it by 10am on your departure day so we can prepare it for the next guests.)

All the 2-11 day passes include two visits to the swimming pool in Val d’Isère. If you are purchasing a pass for 12-15 days you will be able to make three visits to the pool.

Please contact us if you wish to purchase a reduced price pass for any duration from 2-15 days.

These reduced price passes are ONLY available to those taking YSE holidays. Please don’t embarrass us or yourself by asking us to provide them if you aren’t going to be a YSE guest this winter.

SKI

FAMILY PASS

On some weeks of the season a family of 2 adults and 2 or more children may find it cheaper to purchase a Family Pass, although our discounted prices may still work out to be the best buy on many dates. Please see the STVI FAQ page and then click on Product Information for details, where they refer to it as the “8 to 18-years-old offer”. This pass needs to be purchased directly from the STVI site. YSE cannot buy them on your behalf.

DAILY SKI PASS

We cannot offer reduced daily ski passes (at 71€ and 59€) which may suit you if you don’t want to ski every day. You will have to buy them from the ticket office or a distributor each day.

BEGINNER SKI PASS

All the little lifts at the foot of the Solaise and La Daille slopes are free to everyone. This is ideal for beginners, especially small children who can go up and down these lifts with their ski school or their parents, staying at the slightly warmer resort-level.

There are more extensive nursery slopes at the top of Solaise, so beginners are no longer confined to the nursery slopes at resort-level (where the beginner lifts are free). Beginners will, however, need a ski pass to access these higher nursery slopes. The price is around €40 per day.

The ESF, Evolution 2, Oxygene and Prosneige ski schools offer a great deal for a 6-day ski pass covering all the lifts in Val d’Isère and Tignes when you book beginner or almost-beginner lessons with them (5 or 6 mornings, afternoons or whole-day lessons). Costing around €220, it’s excellent value as the ski pass is valid when in the class and also when not skiing with your instructor, and it covers the entire Val d’Isère and Tignes ski area. Some of the ski schools will add it to the cost of their lessons (which will then appear expensive), and others will charge for the ski pass separately. YSE cannot offer this special ski pass directly – it must be booked via the ski schools.

PEDESTRIAN PASS

The cost of a pedestrian pass is €18 for a return trip on one lift, €22 for a day pass and €72 for a 6 day pass. These passes can be purchased from the STVI ticket offices at the bottom of the main lifts.

CARRÉ NEIGE

Sadly we are not able to sell Carré Neige with any of the ski passes we buy on your behalf. We aren’t licensed to sell insurance. However, you can take your ski pass to any of the ticket offices on your first day and they will add on Carré Neige in return for €3.30 per day.
